A native of Rochester, NY, Dr. Germain graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston after obtaining her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester. During her clinical training in Boston, she completed internships in specialty contact lenses, primary eye care, and disease management at the West Roxbury VA Hospital and local community health centers. She also completed an internship at the Indian Health Service in Bethel, Alaska, providing eye care for the native population. Presently, she is working on completing her thesis for her Masters of Vision Science degree, focusing on evaluating screening techniques in children ages 0-3 years.
Dr. Germain is welcoming new patients of all ages, with special interests in pediatric eye care, specialty contact lenses, primary eye care, and management of ocular diseases.
Dr. Germain is a member of the American Optometric Association and American Academy of Optometry, and holds an optometric license in the state of New York.
