Born and raised in central Massachusetts, Dr. Teresa Grochowski (Gra-how-skee) completed her undergraduate studies with a B.S. in Biology and later continued her professional graduate training at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She was inducted as a lifetime member of the Gold Key International Optometric Society and maintains membership with the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and the New York State Optometric Association.
Dr. Grochowski was inspired early on by her childhood visits to the optometrist as a high myope. She later worked and trained in the eye care field for nearly a decade in various roles and regions of the United States including the Northeast, South, Alaska, and Midwest. She also has experience working for the Japanese contact lens company, Menicon.
Today, she enjoys the difference she can make in patient’s lives through comprehensive eye care. She has a special interest in ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eye, and much more.
