William Crane DO

Dr. Crane, born in Yonkers, N.Y., is a board certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After getting his undergraduate degree at SUNY Albany; he worked as a clinical research assistant at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. He interned at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City, N.Y. He trained in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Eye Foundation of Kansas City completing a fellowship in Low Vision Rehabilitation and macular diseases, and residency in comprehensive ophthalmology. After finishing his training Dr. Crane has practiced in a variety of private and institutional settings. He has been on the clinical faculty of SUNY Upstate medical School, the University of Kansas City School of Medicine, the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has resided and practiced most recently in Watertown New York, as comprehensive ophthalmology seeing a wide range of eye diseases and surgery. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
