Effective January 1, 2026, Eye Care for the Adirondacks will no longer be accepting new Workers’ Compensation Benefit (WCB) cases.
We will continue to provide care for existing Workers’ Compensation patients already established with our practice.

Eye Care for the Adirondacks
In response to the state of emergency declared at the federal level yesterday evening and CDC requirements for preventing the spread of coronavirus all Eye Care for the Adirondacks clinic doctors, as of March 18 to May 31, and will be postponing eye examination visits and procedures that can be safely delayed, particularly in elderly patients and those with non-urgent eye care problems. All non-urgent scheduled patients will be notified of the change. We are significantly reducing our patient schedules to provide critical eye care visits with established and emergency patients only.
All elective surgical procedures performed for patients scheduled in the Cataract Center for the Adirondacks, scheduled from March 18 to May 31, will be rescheduled for a later date.
Our optical and contact lens centers will be closed from March 18 to May 31. Eyeglasses and contact lenses that are completed and ready to be dispensed can be mailed out if patients call the location they received their services in.
